HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! (fireworks cracking, champagne flutes clinking, confetti falling)
Hey there! How was your New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day? Mine were both pretty great! New Year’s Eve I wore a pretty dress, had champagne, and kissed my love at midnight- which is pretty much all one could ask for! We kicked off the night by inviting some friends up for champagne and snacks before heading to Pybus Market downtown for the night. We purchased VIP tickets which included dinner, a comedy show, concert, photo booth and champagne at midnight when the apple drops. Here are some of my favorite snapshots from the night:
Merry and I kicked New Year’s Day off with coffee while we watched New Year’s Eve, the movie, for the first time. We really enjoyed it. We spent the remainder of the day relaxing and scrapbooking our California road trip from years ago that we have yet to finish.
Although I had the day off yesterday, I was back at work bright and early this morning- so I’m super glad it’s Friday! I’m headed to Vegas with my hubs and parents for my 25th birthday NEXT WEEK, so there is much to be done this weekend. I’m so excited for all of it. Even packing. I know.
To kick off the new year, I thought 2015’s first round up of Friday favorites would all be finds I think will help us out with our resolutions we’ve made for this year:) Here we go!
Favorite Workout: I love this easy, no-excuses work out. I’m thinking about printing it as a reminder that it doesn’t take much to incorporate exercise into my daily life.
Favorite Super Food Recipe: I love Iowa Girl Eats! Seriously, she is the best. This super food salad recipe looks amazing and versatile!

Favorite “Looking Forward To”: I will be eating a delicious cupcake from this ATM in Las Vegas for my 25th birthday next weekend! Can’t wait!
Favorite Planner: I adore my Kate Spade agenda! Kate Spade has been my planner choice for the past two years now. A cute planner is just what I need to keep life organized. Ban.do has some super cute ones too!
Favorite Spaghetti Recipe: If you didn’t know, this Sunday is National Spaghetti Day! Spaghetti is one of my all time favorite meals, so there’s no way I’m letting this day go by uncelebrated. I’ll be having Spaghetti for dinner, and I plan on sharing the recipe with you this month!
