16 Weeks

How far along? 16 weeks
Total weight gain: I think I’m at about 3-4 lbs now
Maternity clothes? I’m at an awkward in between stage where my regular clothes are too snug and my maternity clothes are loose. Thankfully, I rarely take my frumpy self out in public these days.
Sleep: Sleeping great still! The past few days I’ve even managed to make it to the morning without waking to pee! So bizarre!
Best moments this week: Mother’s Day weekend at the lake!
Miss Anything: pretty excited for cocktails at the lake next summer… ;)
Movement: yes!!! I am feeling the tiniest little movements from her starting this week! It’s so sweet!! And about 3 weeks earlier than what I felt with Milly.
Food cravings: hmm… no I don’t think so.
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope! Let’s see, any symptoms lately? I have had heart burn a few times, but it was nothing a couple tums couldn’t handle. I did have some lower back/ tailbone pain a couple weeks ago which felt so similar to what I had with milly, but I used a heat pack on it a few nights and it kind of just went away on its own. Thankfully.
Have you started to show yet: yeah, feeling quite large these days which is pretty funny considering I’m not even halfway…
Gender: baby girl
Labor Signs: nope
Belly Button in or out? It depends on how I’m laying haha.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy! :)
Weekly Wisdom: I use baby oil on my stomach to try to prevent stretch marks. Or correction, my husband uses it hah! I absolutely hate touching it so he puts it on for me. It keeps my stomach soft and moisturized for days! So I shower ever other day usually which means I don’t have to have it put on every night, just every other. It’s what I used last time, and I somehow managed to not get stretch marks. BUT, Milly was two weeks early so… who knows if I would’ve gotten them had I gone 40 weeks or later. Fingers crossed for this time around!
Looking Forward to: Memorial Day weekend back at the lake later this month!
