December 2019

December was a pretty sweet month. I tried really hard to do an activity advent calendar, with something fun every day, but I definitely didn’t follow through for every day. Things got super busy mid-month, but I’m still happy with the fun things we did do.

We kicked off the month with a breakfast with Santa event – so fun!

Watched the Grinch.

Hot chocolate + stickers.

New Christmas book.

Christmas lighting with hot chocolate & cookies downtown.

Sledding!

Wrapped presents.

Date night!

Rudolph pancakes.

Coffee by the tree.

It’s a wonderful life.

Made a birthday card for Jesus.

Wine & working in Santa’s workshop on Christmas Eve. I am obsessed with Christmas Eve night now that we have a kiddo. I love the magic of putting on music, wrapping, and getting everything all pretty around the tree.

Christmas morning with our girl. She was so excited to come down and see that Santa had stopped by! She went straight for her easel and started coloring. We didn’t even make it through all of the presents because she just wanted to play with what she had. So we walked next door to my parents for family time and saved the rest for later that night.

Is it too soon to be way excited for next year?! ;)

Towards the end of December my bestie and I went to Chelan and Manson for our annual same age adventure. For 29, we grabbed mimosas and brunch and then went tubing! It was so freaking fun and we felt like total kids.

And finally, we ended the year with a NYE gathering next door with family and the best food and fun. After Milly went to sleep, we had champagne and hot tubbed in the snow.

Happy 2020 friends!
