I know 2016 has been over for awhile now, but I was so terrible about blogging last year that I thought I would do a post to share how the year went :) Let’s jump right in!
Merry and I had our annual same age adventure in Leavenworth (you better believe we had wine and ice cream)
We welcomed one of TWO 2016 nephews on January 6th!
I turned 26! (We celebrated with one of my fave local wines)
I went to the gorgeous Lake Chelan for a bachelorette party. (This was the view from our room. Seriously.)
Cohosted a baby shower for my sweet nephew.
Went to MAUI for a wedding!
Celebrated my first programming birthday! (My awesome boss brought in the best cupcakes ever.)
Painted mugs with my cousin & bestie.
Had lots of yard yoga sessions – with the pups cheering me on. (I’m missing this so much right now!)
Attended Leadercast through my work.
Went to Appleblossom festival for fair food and local ciders. Oh, and got mega-photobombed.
Hosted a bible study with some amazing ladies.
Had a great weekend visiting my best over on the coast!
(And we stopped to gawk at Multnomah Falls on the way back home. This place is INSANELY stunning.)
Attended a Luau reception with this hunky husband. (He looks good wearing my camera strap.)
Got manis with this little beauty (my niece) for her 8th birthday!
Had the best girls weekend EVER in Leavenworth with these favorites. (And I’m just realizing Megan’s brother totally made it into this shot!)
Got to see Citizen Way in concert for the fourth of July.
Got to see this bestie during a quick visit.
Threw a combo NERDY 30 party for my husband and my friend Holly’s husband. (Our husbands are besties, hah!)
Had a very successful first camping trip with the pups at Alta Lake.
Went paddle boarding on Lake Chelan.
Went apple picking.
Got to see this lovely again at her baby shower!
Visited Dry Falls.
Cheered on my little brother at lots of football games. (With my momma)
Went on the best hike EVER at Lake Diablo!
Attended a baby shower for my sister-in-law. (I got to do the games and prizes.)
Had a great long weekend at the beach house in Ocean Shores with friends. (Coffee with the deer was a highlight)
Watched my little bros team win the Pear Bowl (with my otha brothas)
Dressed up as THE GRISWOLDS for Halloween.
Watched the Gilmore Girls revival with my bestie and lots of sweets. (Oy with the poodles already.)
Kicked off a super sweet bout of Christmas celebrations with these two. (lunch + ornament decorating)
Whew! And that’s not even all! Hopefully I’ll be a little better about keeping current on the blog this year. ;)
2016 was pretty sweet, but I have a feeling 2017 will be even sweeter.
