Maui – Day 8

I’m winding down my Maui trip recap here, with day 8! (Only two days left after this one!) We started our day super early again, leaving our resort at 6:15 am to drive to the harbor for our snorkel tour. We did a tour through the Pacific Whale Foundation which took us to Molokini Crater and Turtle Arches. Our tour lasted from about 7 am to noon, and it included a light breakfast with coffee, lunch, and an alcoholic drink (if you’re of age). The day we went was perfect because the water was perfectly clear and calm. I LOVE SNORKELING! It was so much fun – I think we could’ve done that same tour everyday of our trip. I can’t say enough great things about it! We saw lots of fish, a reef shark, and SEA TURTLES! Swimming with sea turtles – life goal, complete.

After our tour we headed back to our resort and relaxed before getting ready for our Luau. We went to the one offered at our resort and it was amazing. We paid a little extra for better seating (and the first in line at the buffet, whoop!) and it was well worth it. The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the show was amazing.
