I’m going to apologize right now for the length of this post…
Our seventh day on Maui was Friday February 19th – the day we drove the road to Hana. (Hence the bajillion pictures.)
We woke up early, grabbed breakfast at our hotel (which was a buffet breakfast included in our package – it was DELISH! I mean, they had red velvet pancakes!), and hit the road. I had a little journal full of stops I wanted to make, along with their mile markers. It was a beautiful day and a beyond beautiful drive.
We stopped at stunning lookouts, saw Rainbow Eucalyptus trees, multiple waterfalls, bamboo, a black sand beach… we ate banana bread and coconut candy from roadside stops, and we basically spent the entire day in awe of the beautiful Earth we live on.
