Our fourth day on Maui was the wedding day – Tuesday, February 16th. Marty and I went to breakfast at Leoda’s – a really cute little spot that we’d driven by multiple times. I’m so glad we went here, the food was really good and I loved the atmosphere. Plus, delicious strong coffee. Win. After breakfast, we spent the rest of the morning at the Lahaina house, where wedding prep was underway.
The wedding was in Kihei at 5:00 pm, but we got there early because you never know what the traffic is going to be like between Lahaina and Kihei. The venue was beautiful, as was the wedding. After the ceremony, everyone headed back to the Lahaina house for the reception – food (Maui Tacos – yum!), drinks, and pie (from Leoda’s – so good!). The party went late into the night, and while I tried to last as long as the others – I had to turn in at around 1 am. (I don’t know how I did it back in my college days…)
