Happy Halloween!
I’m having a hard time believing it’s actually October 31st, and we’re rolling our clocks back tomorrow. Before you know it we’ll be decking the halls! Here’s what was up in October:
Traveled: Pullman, WA for homecoming weekend & Victoria, BC!
Read: I’m on the hunt for a new book to start.
Ate & Drank: Sparkling fall Sangria, greasy grub in Leavenworth during Oktoberfest, burgers and fries from Cougar Country, Cougar Gold cheese, fish and chips, mini donuts, macarons, red velvet pancakes, and Canadian ciders.
Friends: Goodbye lunch for a coworker, movie night and dinner, pumpkin carving, and a breakfast date with one of my bests and her husband who I hardly ever get to see!
Family: Seeing my little brother off to his first Homecoming dance and watching his football games, shopping with my sis-in-law and niece, and spending the night at my brother’s new house in the Seattle area. I also took pictures of my brother and his growing family which was so much fun. They are such an adorable family!
Exercise: We’re trying to get in the habit of taking the dogs on 45 minute walks as many nights a week as possible. Our dogs are loving it so far, plus it’s nice exercise for us! Side note, we walked 17 miles during our weekend getaway to Victoria!
Celebrate: My step dad’s birthday dinner and HALLOWEEN! I’ve kind of been celebrating HalloWEEK all week…
Mani of the Month: Gold nails, FTW.
Smiles: Fun Halloween finds, a stretching pup, sunrise on the road, being back at Martin Stadium for a Coug win, SEALS, fall leaves on the ground, and picking out pumpkins.
Heard: I’ve been playing a little bit of Halloween music on Pandora, just for fun:) I’m all about the seasonal.
Watched: We watched the Martian in the theater which was pretty good. I’ve also watched Hocus Pocus – of course. (I’m watching it again right now as I write this. It’s Halloween, after all!)
Hope you all have an awesome Halloween!
XOXO,
Kayla
