Anyone else missing the weekend already? Okay, phew, glad it’s not just me:)
We had highs in the 70s this weekend, which makes me think that we might get summer sooner rather than later ’round these parts. If that’s the case- this girl needs to go shopping! As much as I prefer warm weather to cold, I always get a little sad when I have to put my boots and leggings away until fall.
Friday night I relaxed after having to deal with a flat tire at work during the day. (Okay, it totally wasn’t that bad. My office is right next door to a Les Schwab, haha. I didn’t even have to take my car to them, they came up and got it out of our parking lot!) A glass of wine and twinkle lights made for a wonderful evening.
Saturday we did a little shopping and picked up a present for my nephew’s birthday party. We found these at Target and they jumped off of the shelf and into our basket. No joke.
When we are out running errands and the weather is nice, I get a craving for a refreshing iced tea. We went to Cafe Columbia inside Pybus Market and ordered drinks and a pastry. I got the raspberry iced tea and it was just what I needed! I can’t wait to try other flavors next time. I’m thinking peach will be next.
That evening we headed to the local bowling alley for my nephew Spencer’s birthday party. We bowled (with bumpers hah), ate cake, and played in the arcade. My family is full of kids and adults who act like kids. Long live the young at heart!
Sunday I opened up the box of K-Cups we got form Costco. They carry my absolute favorite blend in bulk there! When I opened the box, I got a little giddy seeing all those little packages of coffee bliss.
A lot of the weekend was also spent planning something that I am THIS excited about. I CAN’T WAIT TO SHARE! Ahem, sorry. But seriously, I’m hoping to share what I’m planning soon, so check back often:)
