(It’s Sunday as I write this, I’m 36 weeks and 3 days.)
Maternity clothes? I’m still working from home which means I’m wearing basically the same lounge outfits every day. And I’m still super stretching out some of my non-maternity things! I may need to do some shopping when this baby comes…
Sleep: oh sleep. You are such a strange thing now. I’m SO ready for sleep by the time the evening rolls around, but usually only sleep for about 2 hours at a time before waking up to pee and or switch sides. Whichever side I sleep on gets so sore after those two short hours, I really don’t remember this part with Milly! I’m up everyday by 5:30am to have my coffee and quiet time. By that point I’m just ready to sit up to ease the soreness.
Best moments this week: Marty has been away this weekend for a much needed guys weekend so it’s just been me and Milly. And the bump. ;) It’s super exhausting for me to care for her by myself lately but we actually had a really good weekend. The weather cooled A LOT and it completely felt like fall so we did some Halloween decorating. We also had some hot beverages on a blanket outside and I let her play on her swing set since the smoke had cleared. We also made homemade pizza, and I let her take a special bath in my tub. I love weekends like this.
Miss Anything: gosh. I miss not being sore all the time.
Movement: such big movements! She is so running out of room!!
Food cravings: hmmm… peanut butter is my jam lol
Anything making you queasy or sick: nope! Symptoms: a super sore tummy!!! I swear, she is positioned much farther “out” then Milly was and I am feeling it! This weekend my belly has been super sore in the areas she likes to push out on… so I think I may be stretched to max capacity over here. Laying back is my only relief, but when you have a toddler, that is not always an option.
Have you started to show yet: hugely
Gender: baby girl
Labor Signs: just some unalarming Braxton Hicks contractions here and there
Belly Button in or out? Out – that’s one of her favorite spots to kick and put pressure on
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy except when working hah. Work has been piling it on me lately as I am trying to wrap up a bunch of things in anticipation of my leave.
Weekly Wisdom: if online shopping for baby things, order them WAY early! Things have been selling out, plus delivery times are taking way longer so we do not wait around when it comes to ordering things. I’ve still been staying home most of the time because of Covid so I have to say… I miss target. And I’m sure target misses me too.
Looking Forward To: October 1st!!! A week and a half to go. I’m just so excited for it to be baby girls due date month, and if she decides to come early I still want her to be an October baby like her sissy! Plus I have SO MANY things to look forward to this October!

How far along? 36 weeksTotal weight gain: 24 pounds as of my appointment on Thursday.
