Well hey there!<\/p>\n

I’ve been a little MIA lately. (#lifewithanewborn) January has been flying by – last weekend we had a great time in Chelan celebrating my 28th! The weekend included chocolate cake, mimosas + hot-tubbing with a view, and participating in the annual Winterfest wine walk. Plus, our master bath at our rental had a jacuzzi tub, so I was able to bathe with Milly which was pretty darn sweet. I can’t wait til we can take her swimming!<\/p>\n

Let’s kick off this weekend with some Friday favorites, shall we? :)<\/p>\n

As mentioned above, chocolate cake was my birthday cake of choice – which I made myself. I’ve been dairy free for the last couple months (it’s a long story), so I had to find a recipe that worked for me with no butter or milk. This cake recipe<\/a> is SO good! You can’t even tell it’s dairy free! I frosted it with a caramel frosting, and then topped the whole thing with this chocolate ganache<\/a>, which is amaaaazing. (Just a tip with the ganache, I don’t have a good blender so I just used my mixer. Worked like a charm!)<\/p>\n

Stop it. I want\u00a0all<\/em>\u00a0of\u00a0<\/em>these<\/a> Valentine baby clothes.<\/p>\n

Speaking of Valentine’s day, remember when I did the 14 days of love<\/a> last year? I’m going to have to plan out what I want to do with the baby this year! I’m envisioning lots of pink outfits and festive photoshoots… and maybe some sweet treats for me. ;)<\/p>\n

I’m also loving my new felt board I ordered! I got it in pink for lots of cute photo ops with baby girl. And this champagne quote was for my birthday. :)<\/p>\n
