<\/a><\/p>\nI made dinner- pasta, roasted Brussel sprouts, and a salad. We had a\u00a0relaxing night, knocking out about 18 loads of laundry. (How do two people\u00a0accumulate SO MUCH laundry???)<\/p>\n
Saturday morning was spent in my favorite fashion\u2014a cup of coffee and an\u00a0episode or two of Friends. And then the baking started. I was inspired to\u00a0make some festive treats for Valentine\u2019s Day. I made a batch of red
\nvelvet scones with cream cheese glaze followed by heart-shaped sugar\u00a0cookies with a simple icing. I\u2019ll be sharing both this week!<\/p>\n
Although the morning started out foggy, the sun came out again and we took\u00a0advantage of it by doing some yard chores. Then we got all ready for date\u00a0night! We went to Pybus Market, ordered a glass of wine at Jones\u2019 tasting I ordered the pesto and prosciutto pizza from Fire, per the recommendation\u00a0from Kat at Jones. I\u2019m a sucker for prosciutto on my pizza, and this one\u00a0did not disappoint. It was delicious! Marty ordered the smoked pork chop Sunday morning Marty and I had coffee and scones and did a bible study\u00a0together. It was really great, and we got through some good stuff in the book of Romans.<\/p>\n We had some napping pups too, while we did some work in our office:)<\/p>\n The rest of the day was spent relaxing and getting things ready\u00a0for the week. I took an amazing bath in my recently made-over master\u00a0bathroom, which I\u2019ll be sharing more about later!<\/p>\n xoxo, Hi there! How was your weekend? Mine was SWEET. \nroom and had dinner. If you\u2019re a local- you can order food from anywhere\u00a0inside Pybus Market without leaving the Jones\u2019 tasting room! It\u2019s pretty\u00a0awesome, and it\u2019s pretty much one of our favorite date nights.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\nfrom the Bistro, which came with smoked apples and fingerling potatoes. SO\u00a0GOOD! Everything was prepared perfectly and I could not get enough of the\u00a0pork and apple combo. Definitely going to try and recreate at home on the
\ngrill this spring! And, let\u2019s not forget about the wine. I had the Reserve\u00a0Malbec (one of my absolute faves- go get some before they run out!) and\u00a0Marty had the Pinot Gris- which is also very good. I\u2019ve loved all Jones of
\nWashington wines that I\u2019ve tried- which is why we are wine club members:)<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a>
\nAnd now here we are! We made it through another Monday. Four more days\u00a0until a three day weekend and Valentine\u2019s Day! I can\u2019t wait!<\/p>\n
