It’s been COLD around here people. Last week there was a cold\u00a0spell that felt like it would never end. After feeling the sixties again\u00a0[in Vegas<\/a>] it’s been hard dealing with these below freezing temps. Plus,\u00a0the flu’s been going around and took my hubs for one of its victims. All I\u00a0can say is THANK GOODNESS it’s National Soup Month! That’s one thing that\u00a0always helps when the weather is bitter cold and the flu is making its\u00a0rounds.

At my house, we always have chicken stock on hand (thank you Costco) – and\u00a0depending on the veggies we have at the time, I can usually always throw a\u00a0soup together on a cold blustery night. Soup is a great thing to make\u00a0where you can toss in a bunch of those “use it or lose it” veggies you may\u00a0have in your fridge.

So far this month I’ve made soup a few different times. Chicken noodle,\u00a0potato broccoli, egg drop… I’ve loved them all. Soups are souper easy\u00a0(see what I did there?), convenient, comforting, and tasty. I recently created a new board<\/a> on Pinterest that I’ve been filling with yummy soup recipes I’m hoping to try out. Here are a few of them!<\/p>\n
